Pieces of Great
The Dub Zero is a “greatest hits album” of sorts, featuring design elements from original Air Jordans and the re-released Jordan Retros – the 4, 6, 11, 12, 13, 15, 17, and even the 20.
Every sneakerhead will immediately notice something different about the shoe's intricate details. And if you have a full lineup of Retros, even better. One will pick out the midsole of the 4, the heel tab from the 6, the patent leather mudguard of the world-famous 11. There’s the laser etching from the 20, and so much more.
You can find a story in almost every men’s Jordan shoes. The Jordan 6 Rings is a storyteller similar to the Dub Zero, in that it contains elements of each of the Air Jordan models that MJ wore when he won each of his six championships. If you have the Retro 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, and 13, line them all up with the 6 Rings and see if you can pick them all out.
Or maybe you only have your eye on a single model and the stories within. The Jordan Retro 12 represents the shoe that drew inspiration from the Japanese “Rising Sun” flag. The Retro 13 recalls MJ’s “Black Cat” nickname, with a padded upper and a paw print outsole. The Retro 14 is based on MJ’s love of exotic sports cars.
And boys’ Jordan shoes get into the game, too. Sizes for the little ballers put them courtside to the legend.
